I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Canine Studies from Bergin University of Canine Studies. Bergin University is the only university in the world where you can study dogs, dogs, and more dogs. I also received my Associate's Degree in Service Dog Education. My courses at Bergin University included behavior assessments and troubleshooting, work with shelter and rescue dogs, canine nose work (scent detection), service dog training, and of course, PUPPY training.
Dogs are wonderful companions and bring lots of joy to a home. They have their own personalities and attitudes. I love figuring out how to teach a dog a new trick or behavior. Teaching dogs how to fit into a new family or how to get along with other dogs is very rewarding. I have been around dogs all my life. My family always had large breeds, such as English Mastiffs. I enjoy being around huge dogs who think they belong in your lap.
I have the best job in the world! I get to spend my days with dogs. Teaching old dogs new tricks, puppies how to play, and teenagers how to be polite is all in a day's work!
